Our goal is to educate the health and therapeutic communities about the importance and benefits of orthopedic positioning when treating patients and clients. By partnering with leaders and educators already working in their fields, more and more patients and clients are able to experience the comfort and relaxation that comes with the benefits of positioning. We are happy to support our Educator's seminars and workshops and we encourage them to demonstrate and discuss therapeutic orthopedic positioning with their students whenever applicable. We are grateful to our Educators for helping us share an experience that can transform patient and client lives for the better. If you are interested in participating in our Educator program, please contact us for more information.

“Wake up calls come in all shapes and forms. For me, September 11th was the catalyst to live my life with deeper purpose and significance. I jumped off the corporate ladder and dove straight into training for massage therapy and ever since then, I've been overjoyed and grateful with the amazing success and happiness that has come my way. My choice to turn to the healing arts as a career was originally inspired by the life of my grandmother. I grew up watching her live with the debilitating affects and frustration that come with rheumatoid arthritis. I grew up a little heartbroken knowing that some people are trapped by their own bodies. The seed was planted.
“It's my passion to help people find the path to feeling great in their skin. Life's too short to feel less than amazing!”

BetsyAnn Baron is a valued and respected massage therapist and instructor. She started her practice in 1991 and has been teaching since 2006.
Her early training consisted of Kinetic Swedish Massage™ and Masso-Kinesitherapy at Kine-Concept Institute, segueing almost immediately into Cranio-sacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation through the Upledger Institute. In 2001 she became a certified CORE Myofascial Therapist, a technique taught by George Kousaleos, rapidly followed by an IASI recognized certification in CORE Structural Integration. Simultaneously, BetsyAnn studied with Stuart Taws in Soft Tissue Release and with Aaron Mattes in Active Isolated Stretch, adding therapeutic stretching techniques to her repertoire. She now devotes her time to treating people with the techniques and philosophies that encompass structural integration.
BetsyAnn’s cumulative experiences have resulted in the development of the 3-level course curriculum: Structural Myofascial Therapy (SMFT)™. She currently teaches courses in SMFT™ throughout Canada, in the USA and Europe, offering her expertise to colleagues interested in developing their practice with this particular philosophy.
In 2007, BetsyAnn Baron and physiotherapist Doreen Killens elaborated a 3 course curriculum specifically designed for physiotherapists: Mobilizing the Myofascial System. They teach across Canada as well as in Europe.
Before turning to massage therapy, BetsyAnn enjoyed an exciting 15-year career as a soloist with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal. Motivated by her interest in the diverse ways a body moves, she went on to study the more bio-mechanical workings of the body. Her years as a dancer placed her in the unique position to know first-hand how physical injuries can impact the body. This was her impetus to help people overcome their injuries and chronic pain.
BetsyAnn Baron is a Board Certified Structural Integrator, a member of the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI) and a member of the Fédération Québecoise des Massothérapeutes (FQM).

Sheryl Grunde is an Oregon LMT specializing in Thai massage and Pregnancy massage. The bodyCushion™ is invaluable in both modalities, and she uses it every day. Traditional Thai massage is received on a futon, not a massage table, so in prone position, for comfort and safety of the neck, support is necessary.
With pregnant women, either on the futon or the massage table, getting comfortable takes a little extra help, and this is just the thing! Sheryl teaches pregnancy massage classes at the Ashland Institute of Massage and Partner Yoga and Thai Massage at the Ashland Yoga Center.
